This project included the supply and installation of 110 locations of 460 mm diameter drilled piles that were socketed into a shale formation to help prevent a slope stability issue at the Site C Hydroelectric project near Ft. St John BC.  Formula completed this task by utilizing it’s Soilmec SR-30 Drill to auger and advance each pile thru 10.0m of unstable overburden and then drill and advance each pile by 2.0m into a competent layer of shale.
