Formula was awarded the construction of the 8^th Street bridge located on Highway 2 in the city of Dawson Creek, BC.

The project included:

• construction of a sanitary lift station and utility tie-ins
• construction of a 5-lane bridge
• removal of the existing culverts and asbestos-cement municipal utilities in the embankment
• installation of slope stabilization piles
• shear key below the creek channel channel armoring and revegetation

Due to the critical location (downtown) of this bridge a 2-phase approach was utilized. Formula completed the bridge in 2-halves to allow for traffic flow to continue throughout the project span.
