TRUCK SHOP EXPANSION

Formula was hired to complete all the civil works for the Truck Shop Expansion at Fording River Operations for Teck Coal Ltd. This included backfill, site grading and civil infrastructure.

WATER SERVICE INSTALLATION
Completed: December 2012

This project consisted of new water service installation to 44 existing homes. As an extra we were hired to install a 6″ water service into the Teck Lab building. All of the new water service installation was installed underneath the existing infrastructure.

HDPE PIPE & ELECTRICAL SERVICE EXTENSIONS, LAYDOWN CONSTRUCTION

Formula was hired by Graham Construction Ltd. to extend the HDPE Pipe and electrical service another 120m. Once complete, Formula constructed a laydown for Phase 2 of the Selenium Plant project.

ISKUT RIVER ROCK CUT

Owner: Coast Mountain Hydro

Completed November 2012 for the Forrest Kerr Hydro Electric project near Bob Quinn BC, this rock cut was constructed to allow for road and bridge access across the Iskut River. It was comprised of 125,000 m3 of rock cut performed by drilling, blasting and excavation with all material loaded and hauled to spoil.

STORM DRAIN INSTALLATIONS

Civil work for Teck Ltd, Fording River Operations. We were tasked with installing storm drains to the Truck Shop Expansion as well as the existing Shovel Crew Shop. Our new pipe installation was placed under an existing infrastructure including an old cast iron water main system.

FORREST KERR HYDRO ELECTRIC PROJECT

Works include construction of the cofferdam, miscellaneous foundations, general excavation, structural steel erection and the construction of three bridges in support of the construction of the Forrest Kerr Hydro Electric Project at Bob Quinn, BC.
