SITE U2112 AERIAL PIPE BRIDGE

Formula Contractors was awarded the contract to construct this 187.0m long aerial pipe bridge.  Site U2112 crosses the Pine River near Mt Lemoray, BC.  Formula supplied and installed the required pile foundation, designed and constructed the pier system and erected the supplied truss segments.  Also required was to supply, maintain a 48.0m detour bridge across the Pine River to allow for construction access to the east bank.  This project was completed on time and on schedule.

MOBERLY RIVER CONSTRUCTION BRIDGE

Formula Contractors was engaged to design and construct the Moberly River Construction Bridge at the Site C Clean Hydro Project.  This structure is comprised of four 18m spans constructed on a driven and drilled pile foundation.  This crossing will be used for the duration of construction of the Site C hydro Electric Dam.  Moberly River near Ft. St John British Columbia.

SWAN HILLS BRIDGE

Demolition and removal of the existing four span bridge structure and installation of a new 116 meter structure founded on the existing renovated concrete piers including installation of 2 new pile driven piers. Swan River near Swan Hills Alberta.

ISKUT RIVER BRIDGE
Completion: April 2013
Owner: Coast Mountain Hydro

This design/build 100m long (328’) bridge located near Bob Quinn BC was constructed as part of the Forrest Kerr Hydro Electric project. The power produced from this site will tie into the new Highway 37 power line corridor project that services NW British Columbia.

PHILLIPS CREEK BRIDGE

This two lane bridge was constructed as part of the Mt. Milligan Copper Gold Mine construction project near the communities of Fort St. James and Mackenzie BC.

Located in Tumbler Ridge, BC. Supply and installation of a 30.0m long x 14.0m wide, 170 tonne rated loading for mining access development.

FALLING CREEK CONNECTOR

Owner: Western Coal Corporation

Located in Chetwynd BC. Supply and installation of 9 heavy haul bridge replacement structures (including several double lane) for the Falling Creek Connector Road.

Located in Chetwynd BC. Supply and installation of a new 18.0m steel and timber bridge founded on steel pile foundation.

LOWER MORE RIVER BRIDGE

Located near Bob Quinn, BC. Launching and installation of a 300′ bridge over the Lower More River to provide access for a mining project.

CASTLE CREEK BRIDGE

Located in Valemount, BC. Installation of a 70′ steel and concrete bridge to provide access for a hydroelectric project.

NITHI RIVER BRIDGE

Located in Fraser Lake, BC. Removal of two culverts to restore fisheries habitat. Replaced with a 70′ steel and concrete composite bridge.

MOBERLY FSR BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS

Located in Moberly Lake, BC. Supply and installation of seven replacement bridge structures to allow construction of a wind farm project.

ISKUT RIVER BRIDGE
Owner: Galore Creek Mining Corporation

Located in Bob Quinn, BC with a 119 metre span across the Iskut River. Steel girder, non-composite deck. Rated at 165 tonne loading for mining traffic. Constructed over a two month period.

MUSKWIE RIVER BRIDGE
Owner: Galore Creek Mining Corporation

Located in Bob Quinn, BC with a 98 metre span across the Muskwie River. All components and equipment were disassembled into weights that could be flown by heavy lift helicopter.

MAXAN RIVER BRIDGE
Owner: Ministry of Forests and Range

Located on the Thompson FSR near Burns Lake, BC. 48 metre steel girder and concrete composite deck, founded on steel driven pilings.

COYOTE CREEK BRIDGE
Owner: Red Chris Development Corporation

Located in Tatoga Lake, BC. 33 metre non-composite founded on log cribbing. Installed for minerals exploration.
